I paint because I am compelled by the beauty of how things simply look. My work begins with patient observation: studying surfaces, light, shadow, and structure until the ordinary transforms into something extraordinary. Each piece is built slowly, with attention to detail, revealing not just an image but the presence and character within it.
With a successful career as a gynecologist, I have long practiced precision, discipline, and attentiveness; qualities that flow naturally into my art. Over time, my style has evolved into what I describe as abstract realism: paintings grounded in faithful representation, yet infused with a heightened sense of color, geometry, and rhythm that transcends straightforward depiction.
In these works, architecture, signage, and city fragments become more than physical subjects; they are meditations on perception itself. A wall, a door, a familiar storefront, each is seen anew through careful composition and painterly patience. By isolating and reimagining details, I invite viewers to look longer, to pause, and to find beauty where they might least expect it.
My art is, at its heart, an invitation: to discover grace in the overlooked, poetry in the everyday, and a quiet resonance between realism and abstraction.
